Nymphaea caerulea (Blue Lotus, also called Blue Water Lily or Sacred Blue Lily of the Nile) is an aquatic flowering plant native to Egypt and East Africa. It has been depicted in ancient Egyptian art and ceremonial contexts for thousands of years, and has a documented history in traditional and ethnobotanical practice across several cultures.
The dried petals contain nuciferine and aporphine — alkaloids that are the primary bioactive compound families associated with this species. They also contain flavonoids including quercetin and kaempferol.

Where do you ship from, and how long does delivery take?
Orders leave our warehouse in Lviv, Ukraine, or our EU dispatch point within 1–2 business days. Every parcel is tracked. Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days in Europe and 7–21 business days elsewhere.
Will I have to pay customs duties?
Orders shipped outside the EU, including to the UK, and orders sent from Ukraine may be charged customs duties, import VAT or handling fees by the destination country. The buyer pays these charges; they are not included in our prices.
